As the new year approaches, I’ve been reflecting on my journey as an independent jeweller and how to stay true to the passion that inspired me to start this creative path back in 2011. Running a business is all about balance, and in 2025, I’m choosing to focus on what brings me the most joy: bespoke designs.
To make room for these exciting goals, I’ve decided to streamline my services.
Updates to Jewellery Repairs
Starting in 2025, I’ll limit repair work to jewellery I’ve created. I will also continue to offer:
Ring resizing
Basic necklace and bracelet repairs eg. broken clasps
Jewellery cleaning and rhodium plating
For more complex repairs or refurbishments, I’m happy to recommend trusted jewellers who specialize in these areas and will care for your cherished pieces.
Why the Change?
Working part-time in my business, I’ve realized that repairs can take significant time and resources, leaving me less space for creativity and experimentation. By narrowing my focus, I can dedicate more energy to:
Bespoke Work: Crafting custom designs and one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to your vision.
Jewellery Redesigns: Refreshing old jewellery by repurposing existing materials.
New Jewellery Ranges: Designing fresh collections that reflect my evolving style.
Personal Growth: Exploring new challenges, like entering competitions or exhibitions, to grow as an artist.
If we’ve already discussed a repair and I’ve provided a quote, rest assured that I’ll complete the project if you choose to proceed.
Reflecting on the past year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for an amazing year of creating jewellery for you in 2024.
As we step into 2025, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the creative opportunities that lie ahead. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a bespoke project, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Here’s to a creative and inspiring 2025!
Warm regards,
Cheree
